Where do Marathon Group buses depart for Marlay Park?
Marathon Group operates multiple routes to Marlay Park:
Dublin City Centre Route: Buses depart promptly from Earlsfort Terrace, Bus Stop 1013, outside The Conrad Hotel.

Where do the Marathon Group buses drop off at Marlay Park?
All Marathon Group buses drop passengers close to the main pedestrian entrances to Marlay Park:
Dublin City Route: College Road Coach Park (inside the park grounds).

Dundrum Shuttle: Stonemasons Way, a 7-minute walk from the main pedestrian entrance to Marlay Park.

Both locations are approved coach parking areas designated by event organisers and the National Transport Authority.
Where do the Marathon Group buses depart from after the concert at Marlay Park?
Return buses depart from the same location where you were dropped off:
Dublin City Route: College Road Coach Park.
Dundrum Shuttle: Stonemasons Way.
Please ensure you exit Marlay Park via the same gate you entered to reach your correct return bus area.
What time do the Marathon Group buses depart for Marlay Park?
Dublin City Route: Buses depart every hour from 14:00 to 18:00 from Earlsfort Terrace.
Dundrum Shuttle: Buses depart at set times, as listed during booking. Please check your ticket for the exact departure time.
What time do the Marathon Group buses return from Marlay Park?
Return buses begin loading from approximately 22:30 and will depart as they fill until queues are cleared (final departures expected by 23:30).
Please make your way promptly to your designated return point after the concert.
What is the journey time to Marlay Park?
Dublin City Route: Approximately 45 minutes, though up to 90 minutes may be required on concert days due to traffic.
Dundrum Shuttle: Approximately 15 minutes under normal conditions. Please allow extra time for road closures and event traffic.
Do I need to pre-book my bus ticket for Marlay Park?
Yes. All Marathon Group services to Marlay Park must be pre-booked online.
Tickets frequently sell out before the event, so early booking is strongly advised to secure your seat and the best fare.
Are Marlay Park bus tickets return only?
Yes. All Marathon Group tickets for Marlay Park are sold as return tickets covering both your outbound and return journeys.
Can I use my Marlay Park bus ticket for the return journey only?
Yes, you may use your ticket for the return journey only.
Please proceed directly to your route’s return location after the concert:
College Road Coach Park (Dublin City Route) or Stonemasons Way (Dundrum Shuttle).
Note: Your ticket must be unscanned. Once scanned, it cannot be reused.
How does my Marathon Group bus ticket for Marlay Park work?
Each ticket includes a unique QR code that will be scanned at boarding and exchanged for a wristband.
The wristband is required for your return journey.
Do not share or screenshot your ticket — only the original digital version will scan correctly.
What happens if I lose my wristband for the Marlay Park bus service?
Please keep your wristband on for the duration of the event, as it’s required for the return trip.
If lost, you will need to purchase a new ticket at the bus stop. Your original ticket will no longer be valid once scanned.
What is the price of a return Marathon Group bus ticket to Marlay Park?
Dublin City Route: €16–€25 depending on Early Bird tier.
Dundrum Shuttle: €9 Early Bird / €15 Standard.
Prices are per person and cover both journeys.
Can I change my Marlay Park bus departure time after booking?
To amend your booking, please email orders@marathoncoaches.ie.
A €5 administration fee per person will apply, and you will need to rebook your preferred time.
Can I cancel my Marlay Park bus ticket?
Refunds are processed via your original payment method and may take up to 21 working days.
A €5 fee per ticket applies to all cancellations.
No refunds or changes are permitted within 7 days of the event.
Are there toilets on the Marathon Group buses to Marlay Park?
No, toilets are not available on our concert buses. Please use facilities before departure. Buses are not licensed to make stops en route.
Can I drink alcohol on the Marathon Group buses to Marlay Park?
No. Alcohol is not permitted on any Marathon Group bus service.
Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Marathon Group reserves the right to refuse travel without refund in such cases.
How do I report lost property from the Marlay Park bus service?
All property is carried at your own risk. Marathon Group accepts no liability for lost, damaged, or misplaced items.
