Where can I buy a bus ticket to concerts at Marlay Park?

You can book your return tickets to Marlay Park online via the Marathon Coaches website: marathoncoaches.ie/collections/marlay-park-concerts

Where do the Marlay Park buses leave from?

For concerts at Marlay Park Marathon Coaches have two separate bus services:

1.) Dublin City Centre Bus Service to Marlay Park
Buses to Marlay Park from Dublin City depart from The Customs House Bus Stop 407. This bus stop is directly in front of the Custom House Building facing the River Liffey. This bus service will drop you inside Marlay Park in the coach park inside the College Rd Entrance / Exit.

2.) Dundrum Shuttle Service.
Buses to Marlay Park from Dundrum will depart from the bus stop under the bridge directly outside Dundrum Luas Station. This shuttle service will drop you to Stone Masons Way a short walk from the nearest entrance to the park.

What times do the buses to Marlay Park Concerts leave at?

On each Marlay Park concert date our bus services will depart on the following schedules.

1.) Dublin City Centre Bus Service to Marlay Park
Every Hour Between 11:00 - 17:00

2.) Dundrum Shuttle Service.
Every Hour from 12:00noon - 18:00

Does the bus ticket to Marlay Park Concerts include the return journey?

All Marathon Coaches bus tickets to Marlay Park Concerts are return tickets valid for both journeys to and from Marlay Park. Single Tickets will not be available for advance purchase.

We strongly advise booking your return ticket online to guarantee your seat.

How long is the bus journey to Marlay Park?

1.) Dublin City Centre Bus Service to Marlay Park
Please allow up to 1 hour's travel time from Dublin City Centre to Marlay Park. Please note travel times may vary depending on traffic in the city and around the venue.

2.) Dundrum Shuttle Service.
Please allow up to half an hour travel time from Dundrum to Stone Mason’s Way due to traffic congestion in Dundrum due to additional concert traffic. Once you disembark at Stone Mason’s way it is a short walk to the nearest concert entrance.

Where do Marathon Coaches drop at Marlay Park?

For both services you will be collected from the same place you get dropped off at.

1.) Dublin City Centre Bus Service to Marlay Park
You will get dropped and collected from the Coach Park inside Marlay Park. The coach park is located inside the College Rd Entrance/Exit to Marlay Park. Google Map Link.

2.) Dundrum Shuttle Service
The Dundrum Shuttle Service will drop and collect from Stone Masons Way which is a 10minute walk to the Grange Rd Entrance/Exit to Marlay Park. Google Map Link.

Can I purchase a single bus ticket to or from Marlay Park?

Single journey bus tickets will not be available for pre-purchase through our website.

We always advise booking a return ticket online to secure your seat.

Single tickets will only be available on concert day subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Do I need to print out my bus ticket for Marlay Park Concerts?

You do not need to print your bus ticket. When you book your ticket make sure to download your bus ticket to your mobile device so it can be scanned at the bus stop and exchanged for a wrist band.

You will have received your Bus E-tickets from
orders@marathoncoaches.ie. Please ensure you download your tickets and have them in either:

iPhone: Saved to your apple Wallet
Android: Saved as a PDF

Please ensure to have the barcode/QR present on your mobile device and saved ticket ready to scan when you reach the bus stop.

NEW FEATURE
If you have booked for more than one person you transfer them their tickets so that they can store them on their own portable devices by clicking the booking link on your confirmation, email you received. Click Transfer Ticket and enter their email address.

Can I drink alcohol on the bus?

In line with traffic laws, no alcohol is permitted on any Marathon Coaches Bus Services. There will be checks in place at the bus stop to ensure this bylaw is adhered to.

Marathon Coaches excepts no liability for lost, damaged or misplaced items.

Lost property will be logged 5 working days after an event. If you have lost property and want to enquire if it has been found, please email orders@marathoncoaches.ie.
